Psakoudia is a small tourist place in Thoroneos bay, on the way to the west part of Sithonia, 81 km far from Thessaloniki. This very beautiful place is built right by the sea, near trunk road, at the crossroad between Kassandra and Sithonia. The place has only 120 residents, but this number goes up to 4 to 5 thousand people in the summer, all of whom are accommodated in a couple of hotels and lots of apartments and studios. The tourist offer consists of sufficient number of restaurants, pizzerias and pastry shops. Local taverns serve fresh fish in a pleasant ambiance, after which you can go to a couple of bars for a drink. The capital of Chalkidiki, Poligyros, is close.
Psakoudia beach: Psakoudia beach is 4km long, clean and sandy, with a mild slope and gradual entry into the sea. It is excellent for families with small children. Green pine trees and blue sea are a unique spectacle. You can swim all day until the evening, since the sun sets later on this side of the peninsula, and sunsets are really unforgettable here.
It is the right place for people who like peace and quiet, good food and wine. Just like most of the places in this part of Greece…
