Hanioti is one of the most popular resorts in Kassandra, about 90 km from Thessaloniki. The heart of the town is a square with cafés, tavernas and shops, and the long sandy beach with clear water is a few minutes' walk away. Evenings are lively, with bars and cocktail bars, but calmer than in Kallithea, so Hanioti suits both families and younger groups. Excursions and cruises around the Toroneos Gulf are easy to arrange from here.
