Sarti is a lively resort on the east coast of Sithonia, about 140 km from Thessaloniki. Its wide beach runs the whole length of the village and looks straight out to Mount Athos. Tavernas, cafés and bars line the shore, and the well-known beaches of Platanitsi, Orange Beach (Kavourotrypes) and Armenistis camping are nearby. When the wind blows the waves can get big, so families with young children then head to the sheltered coves nearby.
