Metamorfosi is a quiet resort in north-west Sithonia, about 95 km from Thessaloniki, a few kilometres before Nikiti. It has a long sandy beach with shallow, warm water, which makes it popular with families with young children. The village is smaller and quieter than Nikiti, with tavernas and cafés along the shore, and the shops and amenities of Nikiti are about ten minutes' drive away.
