Salonikiou Beach (Akti Salonikiou) is a quiet stretch of coast on the east side of Sithonia, a few kilometres from Agios Nikolaos and about 110 km from Thessaloniki. The sandy beach is known for its clean water, and most accommodation is right on the shore, in green gardens. There are no crowds or nightlife, and the shops, tavernas and health centre in Agios Nikolaos are a few minutes away by car. Suited to families who want the beach right outside the door.
