Nea Fokea is a quiet seaside village on the north-east coast of Kassandra, about 75 km from Thessaloniki. It is recognisable by the Byzantine tower on the shore, next to which is an underground church dedicated to the Apostle Paul, and along the sea there is a beach, tavernas and shops. It is much quieter than Kallithea and Afytos, which are a few kilometres away, making it a good choice for families who want peace with amenities nearby.
