Who handles your data

What we collect

Nothing beyond what it takes to pass your inquiry on and keep the site running.

• From the inquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (if you enter one), the dates you want, how many adults and children, and the message you write.
• With every inquiry we also record the language of the site it was sent in, the time, the price you were shown for those dates, and the IP address it came from — against spam and fake inquiries.
• When you tap the WhatsApp or Viber button we record only that the tap happened on that listing (channel, language, time, IP address and browser type). What you then say in those apps never reaches us.
• We count visits to listing pages without cookies: the listing, the language and the site you arrived from (google.com, for example) — not your movements around the web.
• We never collect card or payment details; payment and booking are arranged directly with the owner.

Why we use it

Only for what you gave it to us for:

• To pass your inquiry to the owner of the property so they can answer you — the steps you asked us to take.
• To keep the form from being abused for spam and fake inquiries, and to keep the site secure — our legitimate interest.
• To see, in totals, what guests look for and which listings get opened most, so we can improve the catalogue. Those figures identify no one.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data and never pass it on for marketing. It is seen only by:

• The owner of the property you asked about — they receive your name, email, phone, dates, party size and message, so they can reply.
• Us, in the site admin: we keep a copy of the inquiry so we know it was sent and can step in if no answer comes.
• Our hosting and email providers, as far as it takes to deliver the message.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them for the conversation with the owner and as a record that they were sent. If you want yours deleted sooner, write to info@letohalkidiki.com and we will do it.

Cookies

Only the cookies the site cannot work without: one for the session and one that protects forms against abuse (CSRF). They last at most two hours and do not follow you to other sites. There are no advertising or marketing cookies.

Your rights

You can write to info@letohalkidiki.com at any time and ask for:

• access to the data we hold about you;
• correction of anything that is inaccurate;
• deletion of your data;
• restriction of, or objection to, how we use it;
• and if you believe we have got something wrong, you can complain to your data protection authority.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection only. Inquiries are reachable from the site admin alone, behind a password-protected account.

Changes to this policy

If the way we handle data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
