If you decide to choose one of the accommodations in Sikia for your vacation, you will not go wrong. There are some of the most beautiful beaches in the vicinity, and they are located between Sarti and Kalamitsi. Sikia is an excellent choice for visiting the beautiful beaches of Sithonia, and the fact that accommodation is still a bit cheaper to rent should not be overlooked. In the place itself, which is located in the mainland, there are not many facilities that you can find in some bigger places. But of course, that does not reduce the charm and beauty of the place itself, especially for those who want a quiet place to rest. Newer accommodation facilities are located on the coast, so for now you have a market, a cafe and a tavern there. What also sets Siki apart is the large number of campsites, which is why it bears the title of the camping center of Sithonia. In addition to the beach in the town itself, the surroundings of Sikia are widely known for the beaches that are located there. We will list some of them: Klimataria, Linaraki, Turkolimnionas, Tigania.
Labyrinth
In one of the trips around the surrounding beaches, we found ourselves in the middle of the famous labyrinth of roads. It's an understatement to say that we were in awe and that at one point we thought we wouldn't make it. Some say that the labyrinth of roads represents the remains of a large hotel complex, the construction of which has since been stopped, while others think it was once used for the training of the Greek army.
That labyrinth is in fact a whole complex of asphalt and concrete roads that covers an area of several square kilometers. You may also come across pigs and some other wild and domestic animals along the way. It is recommended not to be alone, and it goes without saying that you are in a car as soon as you get here. But, regardless of everything, this is also interesting to see and experience.
