If you are spending your summer in Pefkohori and its surroundings, we recommend a cruise in Toroneos Bay, which is located between Sithonia and Kassandra. If you came for your vacation on your own, in all major towns like Kallithea, Hanioti, Polykhron, Pefkohori, in the central streets there are specialized agencies that offer excursions, so you can book and pay for an excursion there, as well as on the pier in Pefkohori.
The price of the cruise, depending on the agency and the place you depart from, is 20 - 25 € per person. For small children up to 6 years of age, the trip is free, while for older children half of the agreed price is allocated. It is possible to get a certain discount for a larger number of passengers. Swimming at Toroni beach
From Pefkohori to Toroni on Sithonia, it takes about 1.5 hours by boat. In Toroni, after which the bay itself is named, you will encounter incredibly beautiful sand on the beach, which covers the entire coast. The break lasts about an hour and a half, where you have time to take a bath and walk along the beach. At the entrance to Toroni from the direction of Porto Koufo, there are the remains of an old fortification dating back to the 3rd century BC. The ship normally anchors in the immediate vicinity, so you can also take a walk there if it's not too hot, because there is a beautiful view of Toroni. After relaxing and swimming in Toronia, there will be lunch on board and the continuation of the excursion. For lunch you get 5 kebabs, white rice, some tzatziki salad, a glass of juice and two slices of bread.

Neos Marmaras
After returning to the ship, there is a short drive (perhaps half an hour) to Neos Marmaras, one of the largest and most popular places in Sithonia. It is a real cosmopolitan place, and it is not without reason that it is near the Porto Carras complex. The largest number of accommodation facilities is located in the hills, so if you like hiking, but also the sea, this is the ideal place for you. The city beach is an excellent choice for swimming, and there are several beautiful beaches near Neos Marmaras. The break is not enough to visit the place itself, but you should definitely make the most of it. There is no swimming, but walking is provided unless it is too hot, as it is the hottest part of the day.

Swimming and jumping off the boat at Turtle Island
After the tour of the city is over, it will take about twenty minutes to sail to Turtle Island, where you will be docked and disembarked for half an hour, which is a unique and unusual experience. At the end of this wonderful day, feeding seagulls will complete the experience, and you may even run into dolphins. They say that the island got its name from its shape because it resembles a giant turtle from afar. The island itself is not inhabited, because there is no source of drinking water on it. The braver ones will jump from the deck into the sea, and the less brave can afford to go down the dedicated stairs for this unusual swim in the beautiful turquoise Aegean Sea. If you spend your summer in Sithonia, a similar cruise is organized from Neos Marmaras, with the difference that the first swim is not organized in Toroni, but on Xenia beach.
